NovaDeck ("the App") is a mobile stream controller developed by Jesse Kasowski ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the App.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you create an account or sign in using Google or Microsoft, we collect your email address and display name. This information is stored securely in Google Firebase.

Layout and Preferences: Your button configurations, audio mixer settings, and app preferences are stored locally on your device and may be synced to your Firebase account so you can restore them later.

No Usage Analytics: We do not collect analytics, crash reports, browsing history, location data, or any other behavioral data.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect solely to:

• Authenticate your identity and maintain your account.
• Save and sync your button layouts and preferences across sessions.

3. Local Network Communication

NovaDeck communicates with the NovaDeck Companion desktop application over your local Wi-Fi network or USB connection. This communication is direct (device-to-device) and does not pass through our servers or any third-party servers. The data transmitted includes button commands, audio mixer adjustments, and layout configurations.

4. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

• Google Firebase Authentication: For account creation and sign-in. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
• Google Cloud Firestore: For storing user profiles and layout data. Subject to Google Cloud's Privacy Notice.

We do not sell, share, or transfer your personal information to any other third parties.

5. Data Storage and Security

Account data is stored in Google Firebase, which uses industry-standard encryption and security measures. Button images and preferences are stored locally on your device. We do not store any data on our own servers.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

7. Data Deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at the email address below. You can also sign out and clear local app data through your device's settings.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
